Bryan Colwell

Boxing Coach, Strength and Conditioning Coach

Bryan began his boxing journey at the age of 19, which is widely regarded as a late start in the sport. However, he demonstrated remarkable talent by winning his first fight at 22, quickly rising to become the BC provincial champion. Following this early success, Bryan joined Empire Athletics and Wellness, and within just five years, he secured his first national championship title.

Now six years later, still representing Empire, Bryan boasts multiple national titles and has achieved podium finishes at international competitions. His dedication culminated in a Bronze medal at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile. Bryan remains committed to his boxing career as he pursues his dream of becoming an Olympian and competing on the national team for as long as possible.

As a coach, Bryan combines his charisma and professional demeanor with a meticulous attention to detail and strong educational background. He is dedicated to guiding his students and athletes in excelling in boxing and their respective sports. Bryan shares his passion for competition and athletics with the local community by training athletes in hockey, soccer, baseball, and field hockey under the Empire Athletics program.
